The first brand fully dedicated to luxury women's workwear.

Here is what we believe: the clothes you wear to work should be the most comfortable clothes you own. Not the softest at seven in the morning in the mirror. The most comfortable at four in the afternoon, in the chair you have been sitting in since nine, on the train home, in the meeting that ran forty minutes long. That is the hour we design for.

Most workwear is built to look sharp for the first ten minutes and then be endured. Stiff shoulders. Waistbands that fight you when you sit. Polyester that holds heat, holds sweat and holds its shine under office light. Women have been told that this is the price of looking serious. We think that is a lie, and we built a company to prove it.

Real comfort, built in

Every Shea piece starts from the body and the day, not from a picture. Waistbands that give. Shoulders you can lift your arms in. Knits fine enough to sit under a blazer. Trousers cut to look the same at six as they did at eight. Comfort is not something we add at the end. It is the brief.

No polyester. Ever.

We only use fibers that breathe: cotton, linen, wool, merino, cashmere and silk. They keep you cool in a hot office and warm on a cold platform, they soften with every wash, and they do not shed plastic into the water every time you clean them. It costs more to make clothes this way. We think you can tell the difference by lunchtime.

Workwear that gives back

We make clothes for women who work, and we think the women who make clothes deserve working days that hold up too. A percentage of our profits goes to organizations improving working conditions for women: fair pay, safe workplaces and the right to be treated with respect on the job. Every order placed at Shea Studio is part of it.

Made to last, not to be replaced

The most sustainable piece of clothing is the one you keep wearing. We make fewer pieces, in shapes and colors that work with each other, so a Shea wardrobe is built once and worn for years.
