Size Guide
Shea runs true to size. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. Our tailoring is cut with room to move, and a piece that is slightly generous reads better across a nine-hour day than one that is slightly tight.
How to measure
Measure over your underwear, not over clothing, and keep the tape level and snug without pulling.
- Bust: around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms.
- Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hip: around the fullest part of your seat, roughly eight inches below the waist.
Body measurements
These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Find the size that matches your measurements and the garment is cut to fit over it.

Not every style is offered in every size. The size selector on each product page shows what is available for that piece.
Fitting by family
- Form is structured tailoring. Take your usual size. If you are between sizes or plan to layer a knit underneath a blazer, size up.
- Ease is comfort-first tailoring with concealed elastic, drawstring and pull-on waists. These are the most forgiving pieces we make and sit comfortably across a wider range.
- Drape dresses and jumpsuits are cut to skim. If your bust and hip fall in different sizes, choose the size for your larger measurement.
- Pure layering pieces are close to the body. Take your usual size, or size up if you prefer a looser line.
- Mantle outerwear is cut to go over tailoring, so it already includes room for a blazer. Take your usual size.
- Weave jackets are relaxed through the shoulder and body.
